We’re on the lookout for a Social Media Coordinator, who will work closely with the Social Media Associate Manager in creating and posting content across all platforms on a day-to-day basis. This socially savvy individual will manage the collection launch process, Pinterest content, Google+ content, LinkedIn, and user-generated content—and will also manage retail liaisons and showroom relationships in order to create city-specific content.

What you’ll do:

Content creation and maintenance

  • Coordinate with the Social Media Associate Manager to draft weekly posts for all platforms
  • Manage Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn: creation and maintenance of content, promotion, and reporting
  • Manage the process of launching collections on social media
  • Generate original content (with an emphasis on Instagram) for initiatives and promotion of the company as a lifestyle brand

Retail (stores + showrooms)

  • Retail liaisons: assist in training liaisons at each store, Ideate and execute retail-related content with liaisons, coordinate liaisons’ meetings with bloggers and influencers
  • Showrooms: manage day-to-day social media relationships with showrooms, execute a plan to improve social media cross-promotion across all showroom locations

Blogger Relationships

  • Manage and update key blogger database
  • Inform bloggers of Warby Parker news and initiatives via email outreach, with a focus on content-generation; track and report on results of all outreach
  • Help ideate and execute plans for blogger/influencer partnerships (giveaways, meet-ups, and more)

Who you are:

  • Social media savvy and genuinely excited to explore new platforms and learn new things
  • An eye for detail and the Warby Parker brand aesthetic—will need to create design-driven content across all social channels
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills (you’re a whiz at talking to many different types of people)
  • Ability to create and manage day-to-day social media communication
  • Great at juggling multiple projects and prioritizing as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years working in a full-time social media role
  • Hands-on experience executing creative social media campaigns
  • Highly proficient in using social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, HootSuite, and photo editing applications
