We're looking for a Product Expansion Manager to lead the implementation of our growing product line. Candidates for the Product Expansion Manager must have experience bringing consumer goods to market, analytical experience, and an eye for fashion. The Product Expansion Manager will work closely with our product development, retail, online experience, and supply chain teams to get new items out to our customers.

What you'll do:

Project Management and Operations

  • Oversee implementation of new product types, including collaborations with new partners, new lens offerings, new frame fabrications, seasonal gift cards, and any other for-sale items
  • Manage relationships with product collaboration partners, including day-to-day communication, timelines, and negotiating terms of partnerships
  • Manage end-to-end gift card offering, including product offering, packaging, logistics, and inventory.
  • Oversee execution of the annual holiday gift card campaign, alongside the marketing team.

Data Analysis

  • Align with consumer insights to understand key market for new products; analyze historical sales data to inform expectations for new product
  • Provide projections for new product sales performance in partnership with the Product Strategy Analyst and the finance team

Product Knowledge and Sales

  • Liaise with marketing to roll out new products and collaborations. Act as subject matter expert on materials, constructions, pricing, future plans, etc.
  • Work closely with our Product Development Supervisor to ensure that business needs are met as new products are developed
  • Develop new product line training materials for internal teams and conduct training sessions on new products
  • Act as a business owner for collaborations during go-to-market phase, ensuring product information is communicated effectively to the internal team

Who you are:

  • Experience seeing rollout of consumer product executed end-to-end (from inception to market)
  • Optimistic; able to face challenging problems with a smile
  • High-level analytical skills: able to perform sales analysis, sizing analysis, plus drive decisions as to which metrics are important
  • Ability to get along with many personality types—both creative and analytical
  • Understanding of consumer goods and fashion categories
  • Keen merchandising eye (high-taste level)
  • Highly organized, able to enforce deadlines


  • 3-5 years experience managing a consumer good or fashion product (as a management consultant, brand manager, or merchandiser)
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Highly proficient in Powerpoint and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiations or sales background a plus
