We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join the team and manage our consumer insights efforts, becoming the expert on Warby Parker consumers past, present, and future. You’ll take the lead on all qualitative and quantitative research efforts including (but not limited to) surveys, brand trackers, segmentations, interviews, and focus groups. Most importantly, you’ll work cross-functionally to translate these insights into action—partnering with our brand management, retail, product, online experience, and customer experience teams to make decisions about the future of the Warby Parker consumer experience. You’ll report to our Director of Consumer Insights, filling a highly visible role with access to our co-CEOs and senior management team.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to answer key questions about our current (and future) customer, and translate these insights into action, partnering across teams to develop strategic recommendations for Warby Parker’s largest business questions
  • Measure the success of new customer-facing initiatives, using survey results and qualitative feedback to understand the effectiveness of these efforts
  • Develop qualitative research expertise, conducting focus groups and interviews to dig deeper into consumer perceptions of the Warby Parker brand
  • Use psychographic, behavioral, and demographic data to create meaningful eyewear consumer segmentations—mapping them to our existing and target customer to inform marketing, online experience, and product decisions
  • Work with our product strategy team to price new product offerings and plan for future product/market extensions
  • Track Warby Parker’s Net Promoter Score and other key customer metrics, sharing trends and insights with our leadership and customer-facing teams
  • Develop insights that relate key customer metrics to revenue growth and profitability, and develop recommendations to impact the most important drivers of financial performance
  • Work with our retail team to understand, measure, and optimize the in-store experience as we expand our retail footprint and add new stores
  • Analyze transactional and research data to better understand customer loyalty and lifetime value, partnering with the brand management team to find opportunities to impact these metrics

  • 2-5 years of experience in a highly analytical role (management consulting, market research and/or consumer insights experience is preferred)
  • Experience translating data into strategic recommendations
  • Experience conducting primary research
  • Expert in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
